PPGERN - UENF

I am a biologist with an MSc from the Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)
and a PhD candidate in ecology at Universidade Estadual do Norte Fluminense
Darcy Ribeiro (UENF). Since 2019 I have been collaborating on marine conservation
projects and sea turtles protection programs, where my interest in marine ecology
has been growing and flourishing. Currently, I am conducting research on the
acoustic telemetry of reef fishes and sea turtles, in partnership with Projeto Costão
Rochoso. My research goal is to understand how surgeonfishes (Acanthurus
chirurgus) and juvenile green turtles (Chelonia mydas) utilize the subtropical reef
habitats of Arraial do Cabo, RJ.
