He is a PhD candidate in Ecology at the PPGE - UFRJ. His thesis discusses patterns of
metapopulation connectivity in reef fish by molecular methods. Has a Masters in Marine
Biology from the Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF). Has experience in the area of
Molecular Biology and Ecology and on reef fish ecology. He has extensive experience on
scuba diving methodologies, being Master Scuba Dive Trainer, Technical Diver and
Rebreather Diver.
